VF-25 Details , a very dark Nickel that was cleaned in my opinion .

VF, details, environmental damage.

You might want to try a pure acetone bath followed by a pure water rinse following by air dry. It might work some of the stain loose.

Thanks for everyone's feedback. I agree that some of the dark deposits are probably corrosion. I think it's a pretty good buy at $13.66, though. These can get expensive.
