Well, if you hadn't guessed it by now - today was "clean up my desk and photo day"...
This is a cool coin. No real raised rim on the hammer die side (reverse) and a full railroad rim all the way around the coin. When you look at the rim edge, you can see that it was struck on a Type 1 planchet, with the typical edges you see on a Type 1 planchet. One thing for sure, it is not easy photographing a curved rim edge!
