Wowie! This is a really rare one, though not in the best of shape. She's going to PCGS tomorrow so I get her back in time for baltimore. I think this is a FR-02. Current pop puts this at around 2 dozen known.

Your rare find proves the rule that what is most valuable in coin collecting is knowledge.

Thanks Moxx, the doubling is best shown on the 'T' of trust at this point as everything else is blobby.

I think I see it, but can I get some better pics? Maybe different lighting angles?

Also if you aren't considering selling it, I suggest keeping it. It's pretty rare and the chances of finding that again are pretty slim.

I am not seeing the spread on the 'D' in GOD.

This will be a job for ANACS, NGC and PCGS.

I don't think you have it. I think the Doubling on the S would still show through. The last T of trust also doesn't match. Even with all this wear, I think you could see some more enlargement. Sorry! Good luck with the rest of the lot.

I would say no for the time being, you'd certainly need 3rd party authentication if this is the real deal.

I can't say for sure either, I would expect more doubling to be visible even in this condition but who knows. Let us know what PCGS says.
