Is this an improperly annealed planchet(Sintered planchet?)
After one of my last dime posts I'm leaning toward it being an Sintered planchet?

It looks like the coin was buried for a time or in a fire. The surface and color looks more like environmental damage. It didn't look like that when it left the mint.
