I know someone would probably love to have this but I'm not sure if I need to get it authenticated etc. It's a 1965 nickel that looks like on the backside there was an error and it has a "liberty 1964" stamped on it backwards. Yokozuna Pillar of the Community United States 4618 Posts	Posted 11/10/2019 4:43 pm to the CCF! The key to this coin is the fact that LIBERTY 1964 is backwards on the reverse. This coin has been altered by clamping it in a vise or other device, with another coin. It it were a true error strike it wouldn't show the letters backwards. Sorry I don't know the correct terms. Thanks! I didn't want to be sitting on something that a collector would enjoy or value more than I would.
