Hey all,

After a bit of a break from collecting, I've recently jumped back into ancient coins. Here are two of my recent purchases!

Domitian, AE As, Rome mint. A.D. 81-96. RIC 487 (RIC II 333). 11.81 grams.
Obv. Laureate head right; Rev. Fortuna standing left, holding rudder & cornucopia.

Billion Tetradrachm, A.D. 215-217. 12.61 grams. Prieur 1292.
Obv. Laureate head right; Rev. Eagle, prow of galley. AU+/Mint State.
Ex-Dr. James Eustace Bizzell, II Collection.

They're both in superb condition - the Caracalla is practically lustrous!

...Wonderful looking coins!

I've always liked the look of the Caracalla Tets with their deep set eyes and protruding forehead and nose but haven't added one to my collection yet...

Lovely examples congrats.....Paul
