Im looking into an auction for this one. However, I realize timing and pricing is all a part of getting a good return. What minimum would you all suggest? It graded at an MS 65
Error coins are tough to value, but I know you are looking for some guidance. 1976 is not a particularly desirable date for these, so probably on the low end for an MS-65 somewhere in the $275 range. Generally if you get $250 someone got a pretty good deal and if you get $300 you did pretty well. That's my educated guess, as someone who owns a 1966 MS-66 example so not entirely without some knowledge.
not on Lincolns, just the denominations with the commemorative designs. 1976 is generally a low dollar year for anything on a Lincoln, although I've never seen one sell, a WDDO-001 would make a nice premium.
