Found with some old Spanish Marvelidis and other old garbage coins. The guy from coinstore called them garbage. I had to clean to get to the gold color.
Gold does not normally corrode like that. And the guy from the coin store would have charged you appropriately for anything made of gold.
That image in the first photo reminds me of this very common modern Brazilian coin which could fit the color,and the letter R at 3:00 in your photo: (edit: 10 Centavos 1947-55 KM#561)
