Hello folks!
I'm writing you in behalf of a friend who's struggling with this coin, do you think the countermark is authentic? I've seen a few in the same conditions in previous auctions but we still have doubts about it (edges of the countermark and overall condition of the portrait)

any help would be appreciated :)
thank you in advance.

Gasp

I'm pretty sure they stopped countermarking the 8 reales pieces by 1805.
