Last one for tonight, I promise!

Just wanted to let you all know of a die crack you can keep your eyes out for. I first thought it was a die clash, but when I compared a flipped overlay with the Washington portrait, it didn't match up.

If I'm amiss in my identification, please let me know. Below are some images of the crack--it's between the peak of the bow of the boat and the mountain, running north-south.

My first thought is a die clash, doesn't look like a die crack to me at all. You sure the overlay doesn't line up with the gap between the neck and the queue?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's not a clash. Here is a three-layered overlay you can compare my assessment with.

The closest thing it could possible correspond to is the crease near Washington's Adam's apple, but that's not a very prominent design feature to have impressed the obverse.

Your overlays aren't inverted properly.

And magically, when I have the dies oriented correctly, it DOES seem to track to the neck/ponytail.

My overhead shot doesn't highlight the clash edge too clearly, but here's a PROPER overlay, and it does line up with that reverse face crease.

Thanks for catching that Tanman2001!
