I sent this little gem into PCGS a while back along with some other specimens and I figured this would be a fun coin for a You VS TPG post now that I've got the results. Regardless of grade this is one of my favorite coins and one of the most eye appealing examples I've seen for the issue. A littlee warning for those who want to play though..this coin is in my registry, which I've linked to the site before, and it is also one of the pieces PCGS currently uses as a plate coin..so don't look there. There's a few super small spots but they are merely toning specks which were likely
caused by some dust or something and don't even show in hand..

My guess would probably have to be 66+, though I don't often grade specimens so that's just a guess.

It's time to post the grade as interest in grading has fizzled out.

This coin graded:

SP-67 Mirror

This coin is the third piece to reach SP-67, tied with two others as the finest known. The only other two coins were the Pittman and Norweb examples, making this the first one to pass SP-66 at PCGS since the late 1990s..
