A couple weeks ago before our fist snow storm I was hunting a colonial farm and found this 1802 Draped Bust.. too bad the ground was so harsh on her. Can't wait to get back there next spring.

that's a nice early copper
yep it's too bad the ground wasnt kind over the years but your return trip in the spring might put your coil over a silver from that time
Silver survives better however it's not as plentiful but it's out there ...hope you catch one next time!
