General Question On Reverse Types For 1968 Proof Quarters

There are at least 4 types of 1968 S proof quarter reverses. THe bulk of them are type G which was a new proof only design in 1968. In late 1968 they switched to a slightly modified type B now called type H. In early 1968 a very few type F were struck. The fourth one is a bit of a puzzlement. It is either a type D or type E or both could have been used. Type D and E are nearly identical except type E has an incuse outline on the inside edge of the eagles outer wing segment to the viewer's left. I believe this line would be easily polished off in preparation of a proof die.
