jmkendall Pillar of the Community United States 1590 Posts	Posted 12/20/2019 10:22 pm Coinfrog, all grading books agree that "wear" is the main criteria for grading. Not appearance. There are 1926 D LWC that are MS, but are struck from dies so badly worn that the details would be lucky to merit a "good" grade. Therefore grading from actual wear is a Technical grade. Grading from "perception" is a market grade, which is what you are doing. Admittedly most people grade from perception rather than actual wear. Report this Post to the Staff
