I am considering taking in a batch of coins to be graded by ICCS. I like that I can just take drop them off and pick them up myself with no fear of being lost in the mail, but am hoping someone else here has done business with them and can give me their opinion of the validity of their grades, as well as their opinion of how reliable this company is.

thanks
Malissa

While ICCS is relatively unknown among US dealers and (some) collectors in the states, it's by far the most accurate/respected grader of Canadian coins--more accurate than NGC, imo. I see coins on ebay going for a premium in ICCS holders. However, given the cost per coin for ICCS grading, I only consider it worthwhile for coins that might sell for over $100. I have many coins graded by ICCS, but have not submitted myself. Thanks for the PM...I'll answer soon.

I have sent a few hundred coins to ICCS over the years. Great service (usually 2 week turn around time) and very good grading and variety recognition. You will not have any problems with them.
