A word of warning, Many chineese coins are counterfit. Be sure to buy them slabbed by a 3rd party grading sevice. I am not sure what that coin is sorry.

I've never seen one quite like that, although I have a weird triangular one of a similar nature. I would agree that it is probably some sort of token or pendant.

This is not entirely accurate,, Chinese coins themselves are more than likely legitimate, it is the American coins coming from china that are for the greater part counterfeit. Rick

So the 1799 Silver dollar Heraldic Eagle reverse I bought in Bangkok for $2 is a FAKE! [:0] lol. I keep next to my "Deed to Statue of Liberty" and "Deed to Manhattan and Long Island".( bought in NY) Some things you just have to buy. LOL Buy the way they sell fake "old" Thailand coins also. I bought a few. I've not seen any Chinese coin that looks like that. I suspect it's a Medallion

IMHO it is not a coin but a token or medallion of some sort. It is not a Thai coin judging from the Chinese characters. I have sent an email to sunyang, our only chinese collector from China to see whether he can help out. BTW ayambangkok welcome to the Forum...you have an interesting monika...do you know what it means

i don't think it is counterfit. let me know where/how much/from who you buy it. i think it may be a memorial currency.

Yes, I know the literal meaning of the two words combined into one. Born in Singapore before migrating to Australia, I speak and write Bahasa Indonesia dengan Bahasa Malaysia fluently. So where are you from BTW...the link to your website does not work. Cheers....Lim
