I'll say VF-35, but EF-40 would not surprise me.

I'm inclined to go much higher AU-55. This coin is very late die state with extreme strike weakness, but I see little actual wear. Pay attention to the stars on the obverse for example. The first star to the right is fully split while the star above the L of liberty is flat. Wear? Nope. Also The berries on the reverse show very little wear but are fully defined. Textbook AU for sure.

In hand it definitely turned out better than expected, the guy offered to give me a reimburse because he thought the die cracks were scratches.

The coin still retains some of it's mint red luster on the obverse around some of the devices, love the coin!

I'd say 45-50, leaning towards 50 if it did look better in hand.

WOW!!!, what a beauty. I'm at AU-55 with a possible 58 on this. I only see a little rub on the Obv. and the stars look untouched except for 5 6 & 7, mostly on the 6th above the L in Liberty.
Title needs to changed from 1930 to 1830 though

A little too dark for my blood . Rims on both sides kind of messed up . Not much wear on this coin but a lot of small issues . EF-40+

I have no problem with EF-40, but I don't see this as AU.

Full sharp ear with hair detail above it, nice hair curl in front of the ear, fully shaped leaves on reverse, AU-55 and a beauty even in these dark photos.
