Most Texans aren't all that arrogant, and in every way imaginable I cannot afford to be an exception. In my early 60s, I was forced into early retirement via disability. My family suffers daily because I cannot provide as I once could. In contrast to my former high pressure career, I enjoy the serenity of collecting immensely but suffer from unintended overload. It seems that any coin I examine has some potential flaw or unique characteristic if I look hard enough. I have no illusion of becoming rich quick. What I do aspire to is a simple supplement to the measly disability check I get each month while enjoying the effort.
When I was still healthy enough to play golf, I was tenacious and supposedly observant enough to help anyone find otherwise "lost" balls so this truly is something I look forward to learning. Unfortunately, my poor health includes an ego checking slower learning curve than when was younger.
I greatly want to contribute, but as of this moment I have too many questions to be much more than a nuisance. With the help and patience I have seen reading this forum, I hope to offer as much as I receive. With permission I would like to submit some of my observations, but I am aware that initially I may be a slow learner.
Thank you all for the courtesy of reading my diatribe and I look forward to earning that generosity.
