I'd say yes. I've never really seen much in the way of modern fake capped bust halves (except for 1815) Most of the fake busties I've seen have been contemporary counterfeits (which are collectible in their own right) Of course that just means they haven;t gotten around to them yet.

I see no reason to believe that it is not genuine. There are no signs of casting and the markers are all there for the O-114 variety. This is a common variety and a later date, so there would be no reason to counterfeit this one.

Nice looking coin. This is the condition that I prefer. I love the way these tone as they wear. Yours looks like a very nice EF40 example.
