AliLyn Valued Member United States 88 Posts	Posted 01/10/2020 6:16 pm I have this LMC and a couple others as well(in 2 x 2's), that I came across recently while CRH in some rolls I've had for years, but this one is just gorgeous! Photos don't show enough how pretty it looks. I recently seen a thread with one of Coop's educational photos explaining the cause of a coin that looks very similar to this, with the rounded/curved edge on the color differences on coin, and of course I cannot locate it now. Is this a mint error? either way, I love the looks of it but curious as to the cause of the two tones. Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

AliLyn Valued Member United States 88 Posts	Posted 01/10/2020 7:18 pm It's the circular formation I'm referring to where there are two different colors. Top of the obverse is a yellow/golden hue and the darker area below that on the obverse has an almost pinkish/orange like color. Two completely colors is what stands out to me. I also seen something(one of Coppercoins "educational photos") explaining this, which I can't find. I was hoping someone knew offhand. Thanks Report this Post to the Staff
