Hello,
Found this post and this website while looking up info on 1993 quarter.
So, I too have a quarter with no ridges.
In looking closer it has one small section that has very faint sign of ridges. The rest is smooth.
It weighs 5.7g and is also a '93 P
New to this site so not familiar with how to upload images. But I'm hopefully going to figure it out here shortly.
Any ideas? Since it looks like its not just a random coin....

You should start a new thread of your own and not a good idea to hold your coins like that , always by the edge

Nope, very clearly ground down (whether intentionally or from natural wear). You can see the abrasion marks.

Thanks for the additional images but looks like it is just worn from circulation.

ps. Carefull using metal tweezers as they can scratch the surface of a coin and ruin any value.
Lite cotton gloves, handling by the rims or even non-marring plastic coated tweezers is usually ok.

We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

I agree it's just worn down. You can still see some of the reeded edge in the picture.
