When I think GSA dollars I think Morgans. But I just recently realized that blue and
brown Ikes are technically GSA dollars too. Is there a premium for having them graded in the OMP, like there is for Morgans?

I realize it would be as dramatic a premium. And normally not worth the cost. But ANACS is having a special right now. Send in enough other coins and you can add on GSA dollars for $5. I'm checking with ANACS to see if Ike's are included. If keeping then in the soft pack or hard case adds $15-20 to the value, it might be worth it.

I'm not finding much on ebay. NGC's price guide shows graded Ikes in the GSA soft pack are worth 3x as much. But of course, NGC is one of the companies offering to encapsulate and grade your GSA soft pack. So I don't trust those numbers.

Unfortunately all I have on hand for Ike's are the '71 S. Which aren't know for getting very high grades.

Though it appears you can get the min packaged ones certified. Maybe look for sold certified ones on ebay to check the price.

My mistake. But they are both issued by the govt in blue envelopes with plastic sleeves. They both came out at basically the same time. And NGC grades and encapsulates them in the same way. And if you want them encapsulated in the soft pack, or hard case, they are both submitted to NGC in their GSA tier. And as I said, I didn't have much luck searching ebay. I only found one, and that's not enough of a sample size to go by. So I thought I would ask here.

I don't think it would really have any premium, as that's where all of those Ike's came from anyways.

If you search "brown Eisenhower dollar NGC" there are a few of the hard ones that have sold fairly low so I doubt it's worth it.
