SO. This coin was first listed for over $12,000. I sent a message saying, respectfully, why is this listed as a 5 figure coin when its not even a 2k coin. The seller got back to me showing me a few random links from Walmart and other outlets selling 1911D coins. Then he said that he can do $8000 if I buy it. I see he now reduced the price to make it an 8k dollar coin. LOL. Now look at his images of the coin when you scroll down. Kinda funny, kinda sad.
Seems like they may just not understand grading and think well this one sold for this so this has to be that. Could certainly be trying to fish as well but generally fishing doesn't occur with graded coins like that
Jon, I so badly want to tell him I can't do 8 but I can do 6 and wait for the offer and then get back to him a day or two later and say $6.........Look at his feedback as a seller....he already has a recent negative review for sending out a coin different than the picture.
