I think it got a good deal for a fairly scarce key-date coin. But I was wondering about the grading and approximate worth of the coin, any opinions are welcome:

Have little experience here, but I'd say VG-10 (Sheldon).

Damage doesn't help.
Americans are finniky about damaged coins.
In this case, reduce the catalog value by at least 50%.

I am not an expert in Spanish coins, but a search on CoinArchives shows that better grade examples of this coin sell for 10 to 20 euros at auction:

VF-20 details, rim damage. Looks like it may have had a loop removed.
