O'Ree's signature is reproduced above his jersey number ("22"), while in the background, the Boston Bruins logo forms a repeating field pattern. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. I like heraldry on coins - even when it's relatively new like the arms of the Black Loyalist Heritage Society (BLHS) depicted on this coin. From the Society's web site, "The BLHS is the first Black heritage organization that has received Armorial Bearings, granted and recorded in the Public Register of Arms, Flags and Badges of Canada on March 15th, 2006."
