I have a toonie and the upper part of the bear image is concave. I've looked at it with a 10x LED magnifier and there are no scratches or nicks around the area. I would really like opinions on this piece, is is a strike out or man made? I know that these first year toonies had centers coming out but wonder if this has anything at all to do with that?

Will need a clearer picture, but looks like a strike-through

Thanks much for the feedback. I was thinking in that direction as well. If any of you know of a solid collector of toonies online that I could contact please do share, it would be greatly appreciated as I have nobody near our small town in Ontario.

If you're thinking of selling it, I would put it up on ebay

I will certainly consider ebay posting, however...I would like a little more information so I can price it properly.
