This is a 1938 D Buffalo nickel. I have had it since the 70s and can not remember how I got it. Mine has a very visible date and seems in good condition. Most opinions from a different thread lead to envirinmental oxidation? It just seems in too good of shape without a scratch on it to have been through all that? I am a coin novice so here I am! Wish I had better pics but will post what I can.
I am having a very hard time posting the pics. I have the cheapest droid money can buy. I would be willing to email the pics to someone willing to post them? If not I understand and will try again soon.
