It's all relative up here north of the border. These are like Ike dollars, but thicker, and being pure nickel, much harder. On top of that - these were rarely used as circulating coins. Mix all that together, and pocket pieces in the nickel dollar series are quite scarce.

While this might be a lowball relative to its kind, I think most people have P-01, maybe as nice as Fr-02, in mind for a lowball candidate. This needs another few decades of pocket travels to satisfy that.

i would not consider that a low ball coin - by any stretch....

Might use this as a grinder for my silver dollar, although the amount of tarnish on that is a testament to how good I am at remembering to carry it around
