I came across a 2001 non magnetic quater that weighs 6 grams I can not find anything online anybody input would be very helpfull

Can you be more precise with the weight, to at least one decimal place? Also, please post photos.

There are a couple of candidates from 2001, that the Royal Canadian Mint struck:

Barbados 25c Cu-Ni planchet (5.6 grams)
Papua New Guinea 10 Toea Cu-Ni planchet (5.7 grams)
Panama 1/4 Balboa Cu-Ni plated Cu planchet (5.66 grams)

That's not a Canadian quarter on the scale!
It's a coin from Bermuda.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
