I decided to thin out the herd a bit
So I took a few pics of some 'ants' I had lying about
As fate would have it these two pics lined up one above the other as I was cropping them on the laptop
Well I guess I won't be sending these two boys out to new homes .....
To be honest the silvered one never appealed to me that much
Just my natural aversion to shiny objects
The reverses are close ......
But no cigar
What a shame

I can see more differences with the reverses than I can with the obverses, especially in the lettering.

It took me a long time to to decide that they used different obverse pinches for the effigy, they are very similar.

A rather nice pair, they should be displayed side by side in your album.
