ROGERRR.....Wow thats a lot of coins...

Might be more advantageous to move this thread over to the ancients section..

There seems to be enough detail on these coins for an exact ID but that said it would be much more helpful if you posted only a couple of coins at a time, cropped and in focus, with a size and weight..

ROGERRR: to the CCF!

Unfortunately, the coins in the 2nd last picture and the 3rd last picture are Greek fake coins.
Same with the Venetian silver Grossos (two standing figures side by side), in the 5th picture.
If you look at these coins carefully, they have exactly the same features.

At a quick glance however, I would say that most of the rest of them are genuine.
The cup shaped (scyphate) bronze coins are from the Byzantine Empire.

For proper identification and to get a better 'handle' on authenticity, need to post individual pictures in sharp focus.

Since some of the coins are suspect, it is appropriate to ask about an independently provable provenance - where did they come from?

That is an interesting group of coins. I'm going to move this over the the ancient coin section.

It is best to post one or two coins per thread, this is a lot of coins to try and identify. By posting a few coins at a time we can see a larger image which would help for a better identification.

I agree with sel that the Greek type coins are all modern fakes. The Byzantine cup coins trachy are genuine and there appears to be several rulers. I see several Manuel I, will need better pictures to tell more.

I agree and they look to be easily identifiable. Post one or two at a time Obverse and Reverse.

I like the look of those trachy cup coins, nice and dirty ready to be cleaned
