I found this 1962-P LMC in a machine wrapped roll this evening and its definitely the best 62 I've ever come across. Not sure if it's worth the money to have it graded and put in to a holder. What do y'all think?

First step, what grade do you think it is?
Second step, what is the value in that grade?
Is the value more than $150?
It cost around $150 all in to have a coin slabbed.
In this case it would have to grade at least MS67 to justify the costs http://www.numismedia.com/rarecoinp...proof=&plus=

Ahh yes ,the worm on the head variety . No ! this is not a candidate to be graded . AU-58 because you found it in a circulated roll .

Either way, worth just a few cents.

Thanks for the feedback all. If I had to guess, I'd say it's in the MS 60-63 range, but this is just judging by and against the Morgan's that I have laying around. Not a great way to do it, but I don't have much else to go by that's stabbed and in my possession.

Definitely not in the MS67 caliber. No high brass here, but is good enough for the book. Happy Sunday!

Just clicked John1's link above. Nice resource man! Thanks 4 sharing!

It would have to be at least MS-67 to be worth it:

Don't know where your getting your coins slabbed. But that seams a little steep. I sent a 1858 Seated Half to PCGS and I think it was under $60 . Shipping and all
