Hello,
can somebody help w/ a 10 cash China coin I'm not able to classify ?
In the picture there are 2 10 cash, the right has been classified in the past (w/ help of SAP) as Y#10b CHEKIANG Province, the left is very similar to the right, but in the middle of reverse there are a couple of differences I'm not able to find on the Krause catalogue I have.
Do you think it is just a small variety or another coin ?

hm... do you mean the dot in the middle of the upper left image?

The character in the middle represents Hunan Province.... so it would be K Y10h, and the variety is for your own examination. :)

I try to explain better differences I mean, in the new picture there are 3 areas circled in red, these are the 3 main differences I mean, also I reported a cut&paste of the center of the side w/ differences.

The mintmarks for the KM/Y 10 series of coins are the incuse character inside the central dot on the non-dragon side.

The one on the left is clearly a Hunan province KM/Y 10h variety, as wd1040 said. The pic is a but fuzzy (and for all I know, the coin itself may be a bit fuzzy) but I'd pick the variety as KM/Y 10h.2, seven flames on pearl. The "pearl" is the central fireball, the lowermost of your three circled regions of difference, and one of the key variety determination areas.

If I have previously determined the one on the right to be Chekiang mintmark, I must have been looking at it from a different angle, or with a clearer pic. The mintmark on the right-hand-side coin's a bit fuzzy in this pic, but it looks more like Fukien province, KM/Y 10f. Krause doesn't list any varieties for this mint.

(ACCORDING TO THE MOST RECENT WORK ON CHINESE COPPER COINS) Both Coins are pretty common, but better than average quality. Coin to the right is from Fujian (Fukien)
Coin to the left is from Hunan, Four flames above pearl with swirl variety.
