1958 P Jefferson Nickel, Black Beauty?

I was given this 1958 P Jefferson nickel and while I've seen these on the board here on the CCF, I've never had one in hand. This nickel is not gun metal grey but has a purplish blue tint to it. Maybe it is, I really don't know. Thought I would post and get some feedback. Sorry that the pics do not do the color justice.

Hard to tell on this one , it can go either way . Mostly all genuine BB's are dated 1959-P . There are a few exceptions .

looks right to me, it has the more-reflective surface common with bbs
