Here's a question for the definitive expert in 8 reale counterfeits. What do you guys think of this one? Authentic? Counterfeit? Contemporary? I do not have a scale, so do not know its weight, but feels about ok. Note what looks like to be raised bumps on some areas of the coin, as well as a general low relief.

I was sure I had responded to this before but my reply seems to have been omitted. Old age I guess.

I would be of the opinion that this coin is quite likely a silver restrike made for the China trade between 1820 and 1920.
