This was dug up by a local woman in her garden in Scotland.

It's just under 2 inches in diameter, seems crudely made, with a cross in the middle.

It seems to be made of lead or a lead alloy.

On my kitchen scales, it weighs 48g.

That's odd. It looks like it was 1980 on the first picture, but doesn't look it at all.

I think it is 1980 and a modern hand crafted medallion from lead or pewter. Similar to:
