This silver coin is 16x12mm and 3.6 grams. I think it's either Bindusara or Ashoka. Wondering if anyone can narrow or tell me I'm completely wrong...

One of my favorite coin types. If the punch marks were a little clear I might be able to ID the series. Best guess would be series VIb attributed to Ashoka.

If your interested in this series of coinage there is and excellent book titled:"Punchedmarked coinage of the Indian Subcontinent Magadha-Mauryan Series. By Gupta and Hardaker.

Sorry not enough punch marks to say what type, but it is Series VIb attributed to Ashoka.
