Hello.. first time posting here. Have any of you seen a note (one on top) like this before? I'm not sure if its a real original error or some kid playing with their stamper collection. I have 100s of the typical star notes from $1st up to $100s so I'm familiar with them.

The star here seems to be very similar or the exact color as other ink on other parts of the bill. My guess is its not a real printing error.

Appreciate thoughts either way.

Best regards,
Beau

to CCF. The top note with the stamp is not an error,it is a counter stamp that someone did themselves. Here is a link to look up star notes http://www.mycurrencycollection.com...notes/lookup

Thank you! Yeah, I def understand that its not a "star note" like the one on the bottom. A star note wouldnt be an error.

Im pretty sure youre right, its prob a counter stamp.

Possibly a teller's mark or authenticity stamp.
