That's what I miss is the coin shows for some reason BC has dried up for coin shows just a couple small ones every year in Vancouver that I know of and none in the interior .

I used to go all the time but I haven't attended in the last couple of years, due to the same, overpriced material.

so I went today and I agree with some of you these dealers need to lower their prices, I saw 1859 lrg cent rp5 in f-vf $175 1858 lrg in f with large star of david carved into the reverse guy wanted $75 I see coins for $20 - $30 that I would be happy selling on ebay for $4-5 also every dealer needs lights at their tables it is so hard to see details on a large cent in the dark especially when its in an old dusty/dirty 2x2 did manage to cherry pick a few items tho

Lighting is one of the most important components of a coin show I have purchased coins at shows with poor lighting thinking you found something but when in proper light it was nothing special

Prices were most certainly high across the board. And one dealer Totally tried to hustle me by saying a PCGS graded coin I wanted was selling at $120 but because I'm a good customer he would let it go for $100. I punch the coin into my PCGS App right there at the table and the coin is $60. Then the guys son looks it up on their own website and it's selling at $65. Needless to say there were looks and stares all around. I got the coin for the $60 on the app, but won't be doing business with them ever again.

Quote: Lighting is one of the most important components of a coin show I have purchased coins at shows with poor lighting.... Doesn't matter to me , whether or not there's good or bad lighting, I can still read the overpriced price tag on the coin.
