Hello,
My grandfather gave me this coin, it's in very bad shape. I don't know the time period or the location in which it originated from. Anyone recognize it?

It's a British copper coin from reign of George III. It could be a farthing or halfpenny dated 1799, 1805, 1806 or a penny dated 1806 or 1807.

Diameter in mm and weight in g would help to narrow it down.

It's 30 mm in diameter. I don't have a light scale to weigh it.

@willyard, maybe your grandfather was in the UK at some time and got this coin? Probably there is a family story behind it.
