Hello everyone:
I have this 1922 peace silver dollar and it is used .I wonder how you could tell the difference between a normal one and a high relief since their is wearing seen.
Are their indicators to tell the difference.

One easy way is that, if I am correct, the high reliefs were matte proof strikes, whereas the majority of the rest of the dollars made that year were business strikes.

I dont know what a matte looks like but this looks pretty shiny not really dull.

One pick up point is the "E" in Liberty. If the ray to the right comes up to the middle bar it is a low relief. If it is only at the lowest bar then it is a high relief.
Yours is a low relief.
