I have over 80 myself. But I'm not going post them all. Most of your coins look to me like they have been cleaned. But that is IMHO. And I have no clue what I'm talking about
Well actually I'm pretty sure that around 90% of the 260 or so I have haven't been cleaned. Of course that leaves 25 to 30 that have been, and perhaps a little more, but any more than 10% are questionable. And I don't know what I'm talking about either. And whether or not you post your 80 is your decision, but I intend to post all of mine, but probably for reasons you don't understand.
I've noticed that many of the folks here post their best and most valuable coins, and that's great, more power to them if that's what they want to do, why would I want to take away their joy, or what makes them happy or proud of what they have. I'm different. I enjoy getting bargains, and it doesn't matter to me if it's an F-12 or MS-65. If I know that I paid less for the coin than the average price folks are willing to pay on
ebay, I'm a happy camper. So you can think I have a $17 coin, but if I see that the average sold price on that coin is $26.75 and I just snagged it for $22.09, and even after
ebay fees and PayPal I'm still good 50 cents if I wanted to resell it, then I'm as happy as somebody that shows off their MS-64 1880 CC Morgan that they only paid $290 for.
So please, don't ruin my fun for me, I wouldn't be here if I wasn't enjoying posting them and seeing what others think. $17 dollars?, well you're entitled to your opinion, but to me they are my precious collection of Morgan and
Peace dollars that I am happy with.
