Hi:
I had bought a while ago this professionally graded MS-63 1939 Canadian dollar and I noticed that there is a double stamped HP and was wondering why the grader had missed this,so any ideas why?.Coin is in it's plastic holder,so pic could be better.Thanks,Huck50

What slab is it in? You have to ask for, and pay extra for a TPG to attribute it and put it on the label.

Sorry, not sure what all that means, are you asking which grading company did the grade? I thought that when you submitted a coin to whatever grading firm, that they would go all over the coin and find any errors and such....so are you saying that I should ask them specifically to look at that particular HP and note that on the holder?.Thanks,H50

To attribute a variety on the holder costs you more $$$. With the crud on there, it would be a "detail" coin.

Regardless of the slab, you still seem to have a double HP coin, so now you can look for a triple HP.

I doubt it is worth slabbing again - see https://www.coinsandcanada.com/coin...ar-1937-1952 for prices.

It certainly appears to be doubled, but I agree- it might grade as details if slabbed again based on that photo alone in addition to costing more for list the doubled HP.

Welcome to the forum!
