Aloha everyone,

Hope you are enjoying your social distancing, and that this has allowed for some quality, additional unburdened coin-time. Or as my wife might say, Numisnerd Time.

Anyways, I watch for error coins to pop up for the dates I collect, which more often then not returns 1982 pieces and the occasional 1182. Cuds come up fairly frequently, I wouldn't say any more or less than an off-center pops up for 1982 cents. I have noticed that Cuds seem to have a stronger market and return higher buy prices than off-centers and other more common errors.

So my question is what is the price driver in Cuds that can return $40-100 sales? For those who collect them, what is the story?

Muchos Mahalos.

Hello Collects82. The moderator suggested I contact you but don't see a way of doing it unless it's responding to one of your posts. If you would, please look at my post which they moved here.

I'd like to chat with you if I may. It sounds like we collect a similar way.
