I am unclear as to what a "far rim" means. I believe it as something to do with the "s" in "cents". As I have stated in my other posts, any information will be appreciated.

Hiya, the difference has to do with convex versus concave plachets. The difference will indeed result in the S of CENTS being nearer or farther from the rim. Yours looks to be near, which is the more common of the two (but not by a great deal for this year). Be careful, as the 1926 variants refer to the 6 of the date rather than the S!
