Quote: Anyway, yes I got 10 rolls from the bank. Excellent! Quote: The teller was extremely nice, turns out they're quite bored. Her grandson is also a coin collector. I hope you mentioned CCF.

I have been exchanging full boxes of quarters (50 rolls/$500.00) every week @ my bank. It does not bother them in the least.

Did you get a nice mixture of older coins, or were they all new from the mint? either works for error search, but a mixture is much better.

I went back to the bank, well, I went to two banks in reality. Grabbed 30 rolls. Haven't looked through them yet.
The original 10 had a decent mixture. The majority of them were from the 1990s. I had two common date wheaties. I wouldn't say it was very good if you were searching for older cents.
Hopefully the next thirty will have a better turn up.
EDIT: I found two wheaties, I accidentally said pennies.

Quote: If you never searched coin rolls before the you definitely don't want to get a box. I have sorted through Wheat cent rolls through the years. Still haven't completed my collection. It take a good morning to go through about ten rolls. Funny! I can search and re-roll a $250 box of dimes (50 rolls) in less than 30 minutes taking my time. Search and re-pack one dime roll in less than 10 seconds if needed. Have to be quick if I'm searching several thousand $ in coin per week.

Oh wow, well, when it comes to cents, I make sure that I go and put every single one under my microscope, even if it's only for a couple of seconds.
Might not be that efficient, but it's a good time spender.

I got two rolls of quarters from the drive thru bank today. I am leaving the rolls in the car for three days (that is what my mom and dad said to do) to make sure they are safe to open because of the Corona virus. I know we all have our own opinions on the virus, but I definitely think it is a concern because a friend of mine, his mom got it, and she was very sick, and a friend of hers almost died from the virus. Anyways, stay safe everyone!

Well I actually have the virus, as my father had it for about 3 weeks. He's perfectly fine now, I showed no symptoms, but when you're around a man that has the virus 24/7 for 3 weeks, you're bound to get it.

Yesterday, I got two more rolls of quarters and two rolls of cents from the bank drive thru. I also got two more rolls of cents from the gas station by my house. I have not looked through them yet, or the quarters from earlier. I will clean my room so I will have a place to put the coins once searched. Also Silvercents I hope that you feel better.

I just went out to the post office with my mom. I again went to the drive thru bank and got 1 roll of dimes. Also there is a 2009 quarter ender on one of the quarter rolls, which I will post in the enders thread.
