1975 Lincoln Cent Doubled Ear? - Coin Community Forum

Preantique Valued Member United States 108 Posts	Posted 04/11/2020 10:14 am I've just read SilverCents's "Double ear" post and I remembered that I found this 1975 Lincoln coin a while ago and now I got curious if this tiny little chip is doubled die or part of the ear design. My coin looks different but I can see these kind of protrusions all the time, they are just so tiny, or obviously the results of injury, that I don't really gave a thought of them! I put a 2000 coin under the scope previously and somehow that was in my mind when I looked up this coin. Yes, I'm pretty sure it's Machine Doubling but I've never checked it out and this was the time!I think the damaged version is much scarcer. Report this Post to the Staff
