Not a coin
It's a 17th century French jeton.
The term comes from the French verb 'jeter' (to throw).
Used for counters, and later on, as gaming chips.

If you want a more complete set of identifiers, I would say "Crown+AVE MARIA/Cross" (though I realize that's a bit much for a 2x2).

A number of these French counting tokens (including yours) have as a legend the first words of the Hail Mary prayer (AVE MARIA GRACIA PLENA). https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces175792.html
