PCGS - We're all familiar with the beautiful designs of the Panama Pacific Expo gold coins, definite personal favorites. A much less familiar piece is this Bronze 1915 Pan-Pac Expo Montana State Fund So-Called Dollar HK-409, helping us celebrate the US Assay Office in Helena, Montana, being authorized on this day in 1874.

Unlike the gold Pan Pac examples, which can reach five-figure prices even in the lowest of grades, these pieces regularly trade in the $150 range at MS62-63. There is no set PCGS Price Guide value for this PCGS MS64BN graded example, currently tied with two others for finest known.

I noticed quite a few of those for sale earlier today when checking Panama Pacific exonumia. Most weren't very nice.
