Japanese Medal, Possibly Exhibition. Translation Urgently Needed

I would sugguest that someone whos Chinese is very good might also be able to translate, as I'm guess that it is Kanji on the medal. Why am suggesting it has something to do with that boxer rebellion is that those nations were involved with this indicient? Well I guess people died and that why a possible medal however I've seen the medal for that particular event in Japanese and it suppose to be a copper medal and design is nothing like this one so might involve something however might be wrong.
